Questions, answered
Does Goalpost hold the donations?
No. Fees flow into an on-chain fee vault owned by Meteora’s fee sharing program. The charity claims its share with its own wallet. We can’t move it.
Can a creator change the charity later?
No. The vault’s shareholders and shares are fixed forever when the coin is created.
How much of each trade goes to charity?
After the launch period the trading fee is 1 %. Meteora keeps 20 % of that fee, the charity gets 60 %, the creator 10 % and Goalpost 10 %. So about 0.6 % of each trade’s value.
Do I donate when I lose money?
Donations come from fees, not from profit. Every trade pays the fee whether it later turns out well or not. Memecoins are highly volatile, so only trade what you can afford to lose.
Why is the fee so high in the first minutes?
To discourage sniper bots. The fee starts high and decays to 1 % within minutes. Snipers donate.
What does “Raised” vs “Delivered” mean?
Raised is the charity’s share of all fees the coin generated for the current goal. Delivered is what the charity has actually claimed to its wallet.
Which charities can be chosen?
Only ones that registered themselves, proved wallet ownership and were approved after we confirmed consent through their official website.
Is there a Goalpost token?
No. There is no Goalpost token, no presale and no airdrop.
